Pinot, Pearls & Pirates: Me and My Blog

Most of my childhood was spent inside a dance studio....dancing is my passion. However, after 2 semesters at ECU, I decided that this passion did not need to be my career. (Now don't get me wrong - I still break it down on the dance floor!) I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Communications. I guess you could say I made the most out of my time while at ECU and met some of my best friends while living in that Alpha Phi sorority house. I still love going back for football games whenever possible. There is nothing like hearing, "Where it is a first down, Pirates!" over that loud speaker at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

I try to take this same approach of "making the most of my time" throughout life. In 2008, I took a leap of faith and moved to Wilmington, NC....yes...for a guy! But boy am I glad I did. On a trip to Paris in March of 2010, he popped the question. Then, in October of the same year, we tied the knot. That was the day my best friend become my husband! What more could a girl ask for.

We are currently living in Shallotte, NC and living life to the fullest. We love to travel to fabulous places, eat fabulous food and hang with fabulous people. I can't wait to share all this "fabulousness" with you.
